Cancellation & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

MEP (MyEduPulse) is committed to ensuring fair and transparent refund policies for all users. This document outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for both students and institutes.

2. Student Refund Policy

2.1 Full Refund (24 Hours)

  • Students can request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase
  • Refund is applicable only if no content has been accessed
  • No questions asked policy for this period
  • Refund will be processed to the original payment method

2.2 Partial Refund (7 Days)

  • 50% refund available within 7 days of purchase
  • Applicable only if less than 20% of content has been accessed
  • Access includes viewing questions, taking tests, or accessing study materials
  • Partial refund will be credited to the student's MEP wallet or original payment method

2.3 No Refund After 7 Days

  • No refund available after 7 days of purchase
  • No refund if more than 20% of content has been accessed
  • This includes academic content, test series, and study materials

3. Refund Process for Students

  1. Log in to your MEP account
  2. Navigate to "My Purchases" or "Order History"
  3. Select the product you wish to refund
  4. Click "Request Refund" and provide a reason (if required)
  5. Submit the refund request
  6. MEP support will review and approve within 24-48 hours
  7. Refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

4. Technical Issues & Refunds

4.1 Service Failures

  • If students cannot access purchased content due to MEP technical issues, full refund will be issued
  • MEP will cover the full refund amount including any commission paid to institutes
  • Technical issues must be reported within 24 hours of purchase
  • MEP support team will investigate and process refund within 48 hours

4.2 Content Quality Issues

  • If purchased content is found to be defective, incomplete, or misrepresented, refund may be granted
  • Student must provide evidence and report within 7 days of purchase
  • MEP will work with the institute to resolve or issue refund

5. Subscription Cancellation

5.1 Monthly Subscriptions

  • Students can cancel subscriptions anytime through their account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing cycle
  • No refund for used portion of current month
  • Cancellation confirmation will be sent via email

5.2 Annual Subscriptions

  • Annual subscriptions can be cancelled within first 30 days for full refund
  • After 30 days, pro-rata refund will be calculated for unused months
  • Cancellation takes effect immediately after approval

6. Institute Refund Responsibility

  • Institutes are notified of all refund requests related to their content
  • The full refund amount (including MEP commission) is deducted from next settlement
  • Institutes must maintain refund rate below 15% for account in good standing
  • High refund rates may trigger account review or suspension
  • Institutes cannot override MEP's refund policy decisions

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Disputed Transactions

  • Students can dispute transactions within 30 days of purchase
  • MEP will investigate jointly with the student and institute
  • Investigation period: 7-14 business days
  • Decision will be communicated via email to all parties

7.2 Chargeback Cases

  • If student initiates chargeback with payment provider, full refund will be issued to student
  • Institute will not receive commission for disputed amount
  • Amount will be deducted from next settlement
  • Multiple chargebacks may result in account suspension

8. Non-Refundable Items

  • Items purchased more than 7 days ago (unless technical issue)
  • Promotional or discounted purchases (unless explicitly stated)
  • Gift vouchers or credits (non-transferable)
  • Content where usage exceeds 20%
  • Products marked as "final sale" at time of purchase

10. Special Cases

10.1 Free Trial Cancellation

Free trials can be cancelled anytime. You will not be charged if cancelled before trial ends.

10.2 Duplicate Charges

If you notice duplicate charges, contact support immediately. Full refund for duplicate charges will be processed within 24 hours.

10.3 Accidental Purchases

If you accidentally purchase content, refund can be requested within 1 hour of purchase (full refund) regardless of content access, provided it qualifies as accidental purchase.
