Terms and Conditions for Institutes – MEP (MyEduPulse)

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an institute account on MEP, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. MEP reserves the right to modify or update the terms at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated terms.
2. Institute Account and Eligibility
- Institutes must provide accurate registration details including documents, GST info, and representative details.
- Only one primary account is allowed per institute.
- Institutes are responsible for keeping login details confidential.
- Fraudulent accounts may be suspended without refund.
3. Services Provided
- Create and publish test series for competitive exams.
- Set pricing for test series and educational content.
- Access analytics and student performance data.
- Manage content, question banks, and materials.
- Receive payments for content sold on the platform.
4. Payment Terms and Commission Structure
4.1 Revenue Sharing
MEP charges a commission per sale. Institutes receive the remaining amount after commission and payment gateway fees. Prices exclude applicable taxes.
4.2 Payment Processing
- Payments are processed via UPI, Paytm, and other gateways.
- Monthly settlements within 7–15 business days after month-end.
- Minimum payout threshold applies.
- Gateway charges (2–3%) are deducted.
4.3 Invoice & Tax Compliance
- Institutes must provide GST details if applicable.
- MEP issues tax invoices for commissions.
- Institutes are responsible for all tax filings.
5. Refund and Return Policy
5.1 Student-Initiated Refunds
- Full refund within 24 hours if no content accessed.
- 50% refund within 7 days if less than 20% content used.
- No refund after 7 days or over 20% usage.
5.2 Institute Responsibility for Refunds
- The full refund amount, including MEP commission, is deducted from next settlement.
- Institutes must follow MEP’s refund policy decisions.
- More than 15% refund rate may trigger account review.
5.3 Technical Issues
Full refund will be issued to students if content cannot be accessed due to MEP’s technical issues. MEP absorbs commission loss in such cases.
5.4 Disputed Transactions
- Chargebacks and disputes are jointly investigated.
- Institutes must submit documents within 48 hours of notice.
- Fraudulent transactions are refunded and adjusted in settlements.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
6.1 Ownership
Institutes retain ownership of uploaded content but grant MEP a license to display and promote it.
6.2 Content Standards
- Content must be original or licensed.
- No copyrighted or harmful content allowed.
- Must be accurate and appropriate for students.
6.3 Content Removal
MEP may remove violating or low-quality content with prior notice.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Sharing login credentials
- Uploading harmful code
- Manipulating reviews or pricing
- Unauthorized use of student data
- Circumventing the platform for direct sales
8. Account Suspension and Termination
MEP may suspend accounts for violations, fraud, or complaints. Institutes may close accounts with 30 days’ notice.
9. Data Privacy and Security
Institutes must comply with IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023. Student data must be used only for educational purposes.
10. Warranties and Disclaimers
MEP platform is provided “as is” without guaranteed uptime or sales performance.
11. Limitation of Liability
MEP’s liability is limited to the fees paid in the previous 3 months.
12. Service Level & Support
99.5% uptime target, support during business hours, and critical issue response within 24 hours.
13. Modification of Services
MEP may update features with 15 days’ notice and fee changes with 30 days’ notice.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms follow Indian law with jurisdiction in Jharkhand.
